Condoning suicide attacks
In this chilling security camera footage, a female suicide bomber (Tamil Tiger terrorist) on a mission to kill a SriLankan Cabinet minister Douglas Devananda (a moderate Tamil political leader) is seen patiently answering questions in a bustling government office before calmly standing up and detonating the bomb hidden in her bra.
People in the discussion that followed this video generalized everything.
Not all Tamils, Sinhalese and Muslims are terrorists.

These killings and retaliations have been going on and on.

Just pure hatred. You teach the hatred to your children and you are growing a poison tree.
Granted that there had been a State sponsored human rights violation against Tamils 35 years back. And the Tamil groups believing in violence retaliated back. But the demand for a "Interim Self-Governing Authority", which essentially means having a separate government is truly unnecessary and maybe greedy at this juncture.
There are around 100,000 Tamil refugees in Tamilnadu, who had escaped from Srilanka, fearing their lives. All the people (Tamils, Sinhalese and Muslims), need a life without fearing the next attack or raid. The people need a better deal.
The children need to play and study (They are being trained as killers)
The woman who blew herself up, must have lost a loved one and the sick people (whatever may be their cause), had capitulated on that and had tried to score a point, by messing up with her mind.
Tamils have right to be angry with the Sinhalese people, as they have been killed in Air raids and mines and tanks.
Sinhalese on the other hand have the right to be angry with the Tamils, as they too have been on the receiving end with these suicide bombs and other attacks.
But please don't hate and generalize everyone as terrorists
There are victims too, and people from both sides who hate these violent acts and work on trying to help the people in general. They see only a living human in need of help and not the race or religion or skin color.
